Pollution Research Reporting Is Delayed

Pollution Research and Control Corp. in Glendale said there would be a delay in reporting its fourth quarter financial results because of its previously announced problems with inventory shortages.
Pollution Research, which makes air-pollution measuring equipment, disclosed last month that it expects to report a loss for the fourth quarter ended Dec. 31 partly because of suspected theft by employees.
Last Tuesday, the company said it would need at least 15 more days before reporting fourth quarter and annual results. Albert Gosselin, president and chief executive officer, also said the fourth-quarter loss will be large enough to cause the company to lose money for the year.
