A boxer who sustained a blood clot on his brain was released from an Atlantic City, N.J., hospital but will never box again, his doctor said. Sergei Artemiev’s doctor said the 24-year-old from Russia is eating, walking and speaking, but will “absolutely not” fight again. Artemiev collapsed March 21 after the 10th round of the U.S. Boxing Assn. lightweight title fight against Carl Griffith.
