Former Central Michigan men’s basketball Coach Keith Dambrot, fired for racist remarks he made about a black assistant coach in front of his team, said he is suing the school for reinstatement, damages for First Amendment violations and is seeking an injunction to prevent a new coach from being hired. The school announced Ball State assistant coach Leonard Drake will replace Dambrot.
