Schurr Wrestler in U.S. Top 3

Sean Kim, a senior at Schurr High in Montebello, finished third in the 103-pound division of the national high school wrestling championships last weekend at Duquense University in Pittsburgh, Pa.
By finishing in the top eight, Kim was designated an All-American.
David Wakisaka, also a Schurr senior, won his first match in the 157-pound division before being eliminated.
They were on the 14-member California team that finished third behind Ohio and Pennsylvania in the tournament, which drew more than 500 wrestlers.
