Last-Minute Talks on Copyrights: Taiwan will send representatives to the United States this week for talks in a last-ditch attempt to avoid being named on a list of countries that violate American intellectual property rights, a Taiwan television station said. If named in the annual U.S. review, due to be published at the end of this month, Taiwan could end up eligible for U.S. economic sanctions, Taiwan officials said.
