STILL FORTUNATE: The 1993 Fortune magazine list of top 500 U.S. industrial companies was announced Tuesday (D2), showing Orange County’s top five still there. . . . The largest, Seal Beach-based Rockwell International, with a shrinking work force, dropped from 35 to 43. But AST Research in Irvine rose from 431 to 367. The others, which all dropped slightly: From Irvine, Western Digital (370) and Allergan (384) and from Fullerton, Beckman Instruments (378).
