Friar Burt: Burt Reynolds will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Friars Club Sunday during a black-tie dinner at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Reynolds is being given the 14th annual award for his “outstanding creative accomplishments in motion pictures and television,” and will be applauded by such guests as Roseanne Arnold and Ed McMahon. Steve Allen, the Friars Abbot, will serve as master of ceremonies for the event. Past honorees include Danny Thomas, Milton Berle, Johnny Carson, Bob Hope and Liza Minnelli.
