Glass, Reggio Talk: Composer Philip Glass and filmmaker Godfrey Reggio will unite for a free CenterStage lecture preceding performances of their collaboration, “Powaqqatsi/Live!”, at UCLA’s Royce Hall Saturday and Sunday. “Powaqqatsi” is the second part of Reggio’s “Qatsi” trilogy begun with “Koyaanisqatsi” in 1983. Both films are without plot or dialogue and are scored by Glass. A third part, “Naqoyqatsi,” reportedly remains in the planning stages.
