Two Rappers Held in Assault

Two members of the rap group 2 Pac were arrested Saturday on charges of assaulting a limousine driver who protested what he said was their use of drugs in the auto, police said.
Tupac Shakur, 21, of Newhall and Charles Fuller, 23, of Richmond were arrested for investigation of assault with a deadly weapon, Sgt. John Zrofsky said. They were being held Saturday on $15,000 bail each.
2 Pac was taping a segment for the show “In Living Color” at Fox Studios in Hollywood and came out to sit in the limousine during a break about 2 a.m., Zrofsky said.
The driver told police that the rappers were sitting in the front seat of the limousine and using an unidentified narcotic--both apparently violations of the limousine company’s policy.
The driver became upset and complained to the group, Zrofsky said.
