Homeless at Arts Plaza?
So the Thousand Oaks City Council guaranteed $50,000 in 1991 as a down payment for the Conejo Homeless Assistance program, and the money will be available until an appropriate site is found.
Let’s hope they find a suitable location before the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza is completed, as it wouldn’t look good to have the homeless milling around the plaza.
Of course there’s still quite a bit of available vacant space in the plaza. Maybe the council should consider this site as a possibility.
