An anonymous donor has posted a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of three people who killed a Pasadena jewelry store owner and her 11-year-old son during a robbery last Thursday, police said.
A man and a woman entered City Jewelry, 445 E. Colorado Blvd., at about 6:15 p.m. and the man shot Kim Sieng Yu, known as Ana, and her son, Johnny.
The three people being sought are described by police as a 5-foot-7 black man, between 18 and 22 years old, with a thin build and weighing 140 pounds; a 6-foot-tall black man with a large build, 25 to 30 years old, 230 pounds and wearing a mustache and light goatee; and a 5-foot-7 Anglo or Latino woman, between 25 to 35 years old, 125 pounds with blond, shoulder-length hair.
They were last seen in a dark blue or black Mercedes-Benz sedan with California license plates beginning 2GCZ or 2CGZ.
