Anti-Hate Rally a Lie
Let’s not be fooled again by reporting that whitewashes “anti-fascist†groups like the ones that descended on Simi Valley City Hall Jan. 30. Next time, report what they are really selling.
The rally, heralded as being against “racism, bigotry, hate†and the KKK, turned out to be a hate-mongering event all its own. Simi Valley officials repeatedly have requested such groups not to gather when Nazis or the KKK threaten to march because it only creates more disruptive publicity.
But confrontation is just what the leftist, anti-capitalist, pro-socialist, feminist, anarchist contingent--all of whom were there--feeds on. They grab at an opportunity to look “righteous†while actually spewing forth their own hatreds and bigotry, denigrating the free enterprise system and promoting revolution.
I found more hatred among rally organizers than most of those they criticize. Their literature tables were filled with invective, tarring everyone with the same brush, while straining hysterically to make the United States appear “fascist.â€
