CSUN Frat Praised
Congratulations to the fraternity at Cal State Northridge for standing up to political correctness and fighting its suspension after producing a flyer the campus left found offensive to Latinos (“Fraternity Sues School Officials Over Suspension,†Times Valley Edition, Feb. 18).
How self-righteous of administrators and leftist protesters to wring their hands over perceived racial insensitivity. Where were these people last year when the campus became a bastion of anti-West and anti-Columbus fever? Columbus Day was vilified and a campus art exhibit partially funded by the government blamed Columbus and Europeans for racism and poverty. The exhibit included a poster that described Columbus as a “liar, slaver, assassin and thief.â€
One wonders if campus administrators and protesters would have shown the same tolerance for a Ku Klux Klan exhibit denouncing Martin Luther King or illegal aliens. Once again campus academia prove they believe in free speech, but only for left-wing views.
