Time Warner Makes Changes: The entertainment giant said it has terminated its role as an investor in East West Capital Associates, a company controlled by Time Warner board member Merv Adelson. A Time Warner spokesman said the move was initiated at Adelson’s suggestion to avoid any appearance of conflict, since he intends to stay on the board and remains a large shareholder. The company also said that Oded Aboodi, an adviser and friend of the late Chairman Steven J. Ross, will no longer be a Time Warner employee but will keep his office in the Time Warner building and continue to work closely with the company as an adviser and banker.
