NO CHASE SCENE? David Swanson of the Port Theatre in Corona del Mar knows some of the neighbors get impatient. They waited week after week for a change in movies, and the Port kept feeding them British-produced “Howards End.” For six months! Now “Indochine” has settled in for a lengthy Port run. . . . But both received Academy Award nominations this past week. Says Swanson: “You won’t see ‘Home Alone 2’ at our place. We insist on quality films, and it’s paying off for us.”
