11 Arrested at Sobriety Checkpoint
FOUNTAIN VALLEY — Police arrested 11 people on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol during a sobriety checkpoint late Friday night and early Saturday morning.
The checkpoint, on Harbor Boulevard near Edinger Avenue, was conducted from 10:14 p.m. Friday to 1:42 a.m. Saturday by Fountain Valley officers and the Westminster office of the California Highway Patrol.
A total of 793 cars passed through the intersection, and officers stopped 745. Fifteen drivers were administered field sobriety tests.
