Czech Jaroslav Sakala scored his first World Cup victory of the season in a competition at Bad Mitterndorf, Austria.
Sakala went 184 meters in his second jump after a 178-meter effort and won with 339 points. Werner Haim of Austria was second with 338 points for jumps of 178 and 177 meters, edging teammate Andreas Goldberger, who had 337.5 points on jumps of 184 and 176 meters.
