Pablo Coto, a 6-foot-5 center from Marymount (Va.) junior college, died Monday night after collapsing during the first half of a game against Goucher, Md. The cause of death appeared to be a cardiac arrest, according to a nursing supervisor at Arlington Hospital. Coto, a native of Oviedo, Spain, had no history of medical problems, Coach Webb Hatch said.
Coto, selected to the all-Capital Athletic Conference second team last season, was averaging 14.9 points and 9.1 rebounds.
