Clinton’s Inauguration

During the campaign, Clinton blasted the press or anyone who criticized Hillary, stating that he was the candidate, not his wife. Now we find that Hillary has been given an office in the West Wing and has been asked to coordinate health-care policy (Jan. 22). Why was/is she exempted from criticism when she apparently will hold a position of greater importance than Vice President Gore?
