Frank Bjorkli of Norway, running in only his second marathon, pulled away from his twin brother, Roger, and the rest of the pack at the 17th mile and easily won the Houston Tenneco Marathon in 2 hours 13 minutes 21 seconds. Kristy Johnston of Eugene, Ore., seeded 16th, was the women’s winner in 2:29:05.
