Jorgensen Files Offering: Earle M. Jorgensen Co., a metal distributor based in Brea, has filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission to offer $155 million in senior notes. Proceeds will be used to repay debt, according to the filing. Jorgensen, which was founded in 1921, has been privately held since May, 1990. The offering is being made through Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Securities Corp. in New York and First Boston Corp.
