Douglass Resigns After 11 Seasons as Dana Hills Football Coach
Don Douglass, Dana Hills’ football coach the last 11 seasons, has resigned, Athletic Director Rich Skelton said Thursday.
Skelton said Douglass felt it was time for a change.
Dana Hills, 4-5 last season, was 59-55 during Douglass’ tenure. The Dolphins’ had their finest season in 1991, advancing to the Southern Section Division II championship game before losing to Irvine, and finishing 9-2-3.
“We think he’s a class guy. He’s been a class act here at Dana Hills for 11 years,†Skelton said.
No replacement has been named.
