There is little question Golden West has one of the most talented and deepest backcourts in Southern California, and Oda is running it.

Oda leads the Rustlers (19-2) in assists, averaging seven. She is flanked by freshman Melanie Iwamasa (20 points) and sophomore Erika Miller (13 points).

Oda was selected the most valuable player of the 16-team Fullerton tournament last week, when she averaged 12 points, eight assists and had nine steals in four games.
