For those citizens too young to have suffered through Sen. Joe McCarthy we now have Independent Counsel Lawrence Walsh. McCarthy’s witch hunt was for people guilty of “un-American activities.” Walsh’s is to ferret out those guilty of pro-American activities and who by leaving a long paper trail of patriotic and devoted service to our people can be accused of lying to arrogant Congress members, who leak our secrets, cheat at the bank, assault lady secretaries and lie to us. Now he is frustrated by the pardon and cannot complete their financial ruin and personal dishonor. Good job, Mr. President.
