JAZZY CROWD: Here’s how others see Orange County sometimes: Bob Dylan son-in-law Peter Himmelman recently played San Juan Capistrano’s Coach House. Later, 3,000 miles away, he told an East Coast reporter: “These people looked like conservatives--some were in ties. Just nice people, having a good time. I told the band, ‘Play some avant-garde jazz, no rhythm.’ The people didn’t know what to do. But they started to get into it. They started to dance like hippies--unbelievable.â€
