Admar Group Revenue Up 38%
SANTA ANA — Health-care company Admar Group Inc. lost $210,000, or 3 cents a share, for its third fiscal quarter, contrasted with a profit of $72,000, or slightly less than 1 cent a share, for the same period a year earlier. Revenue for the quarter ended Oct. 31 was up 38%, to $3.3 million from $2.4 million. The company attributed the revenue increase partly to acquisitions made in September and October. For the first three quarters of its fiscal year, Admar lost $770,000, or 9 cents a share, on revenue of $8.6 million. For the same period in 1991, the company posted a profit of $201,000, or 3 cents a share, on revenue of $7.3 million.
