In the Case of Allen vs. the Raiders, Can There Be a Winner?

Art Shell says he told Marcus Allen he didn’t want him traded because he thought he was a “hell of a football player” and feared he might come back to hurt the Raiders, which, I suppose makes him the most-feared, third-string, third-down blocking back in NFL history.
According to Shell, Marcus should have meekly swallowed his frustration for the good of the team, which goes a long way in explaining why so many of us believe Shell is not much more than Al’s passive, loyal puppet.
