Creative Computer Posts Lower Quarterly Profit

Creative Computer Applications Inc. reported a drop in net income in fiscal 1992 to $204,357, from $207,265 the previous year.

For the year ended Aug. 31, the company’s revenue rose to $4.72 million from $4.62 million the previous year.

The company, based in Calabasas, provides laboratory information systems for the biomedical testing industry.

Company President Stephen Besbeck said he expects significant growth in fiscal 1993 from internal growth and the recent acquisition of PRX Pharmacy Systems, which provides software for pharmacies in hospitals and outpatient facilities.

The company is also developing a new radiology information system.
