Woman, 62, Killed by Hit-Run Driver

A 62-year-old woman died at Mission Bay Hospital on Sunday night shortly after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in the 4400 block of Clairemont Drive in San Diego.
San Diego Police said the woman, whose name was not available, and her 71-year-old husband parked their car along the west side the road about 6:50 p.m. The woman got out of the car and had just begun to cross the street when she was struck by a car that immediately left the scene. Police did not have a description of the car.
