Nick Faldo and U.S. PGA champion Nick Price were disqualified after the third round of the Million Dollar Challenge golf tournament in Sun City, Africa.
Price of Zimbabwe was tied for the lead with South African David Frost at nine-under-par 207 when he was disqualified for refusing to sign his scorecard in a dispute over a two-stroke penalty.
Faldo, the British Open champion from Britain, signed an incorrect scorecard, bringing his immediate disqualification.
Frost, who shot a bogey-free 68, held a four-stroke lead and was in position to become the tournament’s first three-time winner.
