To Mabi Plisky: We let you down during the election. We are all guilty, because we just assumed that someone who had done such an outstanding job as Oxnard city clerk for 12 years would win hands down. You certainly do not deserve all the controversy created by your successor, Daniel Martinez. For anyone to suggest that the rules were bent to hire you as crime prevention coordinator for the police department, is crazy.
