A year ago, Bosco’s role with the Rustlers was mostly as a backup forward, where she averaged eight points and eight rebounds.
But with five players 5 feet 10 or taller gone, Bosco, who is 6-1, has taken on the role of primary rebounder.
Bosco, from Fountain Valley High School, had 38 rebounds in two games last week. She had 23 rebounds and 13 points in a 76-62 victory over College of the Canyons and 15 rebounds and 12 points in an 89-53 victory over Chaffey.
Another top performer:
Cypress’ Tamika Harold, who had 14 points, 19 rebounds and four blocks in the Chargers’ 49-48 victory over San Diego Mesa.
