OUTLOOK
When Bartelt looked up and down his roster, it didn’t take him long to come up with the team’s offensive and defensive plans. “We really have no height,” Bartelt said. “So we’ll be doing a lot of full-court pressing and a lot of run-and-gun.” Only one player, Krug, is as tall as six feet. But what the C-Hawks lack in size, Bartelt hopes they can make up in other areas. “They are definitely quick,” he said. “I also have four exceptional shooters.” Those four players--Krug, Foley, Olsen and Enser--should do most of the scoring. Krug averaged 15.5 points and was an All-Academy League selection last year. Bartelt said Foley, who can touch the rim although he’s only 5-5, is the outside threat. “We’ll definitely be setting him up for three-point shots,” Bartelt said. Enser, besides being a good shooter, is an excellent defender. “He’s going to help us a lot with our press,” Bartelt said. Ehinger will play post and probably give away height to every other center in the league, but Bartelt is not too concerned. “He’s the fullback on our football team. He’s very tough.” The C-Hawks finished fourth in the five-team league last season.
