Four members of the girls’ Taft High tennis team advanced to the City Section championships with preliminary-round victories Monday at the Racquet Centre in Studio City.
Taft’s Brahna Pastorini and Julia Feldman both earned semifinal-round victories, as did the Taft doubles team of Astra Ramyead and Alicia Whelan.
Pastorini, a junior who has not lost a match this season, defeated El Camino Real’s Amanda Cey, 6-3, 7-6 (7-3), while teammate Feldman finished off her Palisades opponent in three sets.
Their victories set up an all-Taft singles final on Wednesday at the Racquet Centre.
Ramyead and Whelan defeated their Eagle Rock opponents, 7-5, 6-1, and will face a Palisades team in the final.
