“Letty Aronson, former vp of the Museum of Television and Radio in New York, has been named vp at New York-based Jean Doumanian Prods” . . . and eight more paragraphs that detail both Aronson’s credentials and Doumanian’s credits. Very straight, hot-off-the-press-release kinda stuff--unless you knew how to read between the lines.
Un-reported in the Reporter:
Woody Allen has one sister, Letty Aronson, who lately has made more of a name for herself defending her embattled bro against Mia Farrow to the New York press than a decade’s worth of doing p.r. for the museum.
Then, this seemingly unrelated event. On Oct. 14, the director was dining out at Primola restaurant in Manhattan when a diner at another table began to choke on her food. Allen came to her rescue--successfully performing the Heimlich maneuver on longtime acquaintance Jean Doumanian, who recovered nicely.
New Hollywood adage? I’ll save your life if you’ll hire my . . . .
