PUFF FREE? If you just have to smoke, the American Cancer Society’s Orange County unit asks that you please not do it today. Today is the national Great All-American Smoke Out, where the agency tries to get smokers to stop for just one day. The local chapter’s goal--to get one out of three to stop for a day--would mean 125,000 smokers here. Says the chapter’s Margaret Edwards: “It’s a lighthearted approach to a serious issue.”
