Enhanced Distribution: CMS Enhancements Inc. in Irvine, re-emphasizing its roots in building enhancements for personal computers, said it has struck a deal with ComputerLand Corp. to distribute its computer products through the 600-store retail chain.
The deal could generate about $24 million in annual sales for CMS, compared to an earlier limited distribution agreement that generated about $12 million a year, the company said.
ComputerLand will distribute CMS’ full line of storage products, including high-capacity storage equipment for IBM-compatible and Apple computers. Previously, a limited number of corporate-owned and franchise outlets carried CMS products.
