PHILADELPHIA — Two men have been arrested and charged under a new federal carjacking law, the FBI said Friday.
Craig Watson, 23, and William Shaw, 21, are the first charged under the law that took effect Oct. 25, said U.S. Atty. Michael Baylson. The law covers using a gun to steal a car.
The two gunmen are accused of forcing a couple into a trash bin in a suburban parking lot, then stealing their car on Oct. 27.
