TUSTIN : Schools to Celebrate Education Week

“America’s Schools: Take a New Look,” is the theme of this year’s American Education Week, which will be celebrated in the Tustin Unified School District from Sunday through Nov. 21.
American Education Week has been celebrated across the country since 1921, and the goal is to build support and appreciation for public schools.
Sponsors include the U.S. Department of Education, the National Education Assn., the American Assn. of School Administrators and the National School Boards Assn.
The Tustin district Board of Education adopted a resolution at Monday night’s meeting recognizing American Education Week and encouraging parents and other members of the community to visit Tustin schools and support education in the community.
