Buffalo cornerback Kirby Jackson will replace the struggling James Williams as starter when the Bills play the New England Patriots on Sunday.
Williams has started all season but has made costly errors as the Bills have struggled recently.
In Monday night’s game, Williams was penalized twice on a fourth-quarter scoring drive that gave the New York Jets a 20-17 lead. An interference call against Williams gave the Jets the ball on the Bills’ one-yard line and set up the go-ahead touchdown. Buffalo rallied to win, 24-20.
