Thousand Oaks Boys Favored in Meet
The Thousand Oaks High boys’ cross-country team, fresh off its upset win in last week’s Mt. San Antonio College invitational, is heavily favored to win the Ventura County championships today at Lake Casitas.
The Lancers, led by junior Brandon Del Campo, will try to win their first county title since 1986, also the last time they won a Southern Section title.
Agoura’s Ryan Wilson is favored to win the individual title.
Agoura is expected to win its sixth consecutive county title in the girls’ race. Fillmore senior Maribella Aparicio is favored to win the individual title. Agoura’s Amy Skieresz should offer a challenge.
