GARDEN GROVE : U.S. Grants to Aid Repair of Streets
The city has received $2.5 million in federal highway construction grants to be used to reconstruct or repair its worn arterial roadways.
Work is expected to start next year on Century Boulevard, from Euclid Street to Garden Grove Boulevard; Garden Grove Boulevard, from Brookhurst Street to Euclid Street; Brookhurst Street, from Chapman Avenue to Katella Avenue; Brookhurst Street, from Hazard Avenue to Trask Avenue; and Western Avenue, from Chapman Avenue to the north city limits.
