Lynwood : Food Distribution Program Available to Some Residents

Low-income residents may qualify for a monthly distribution of free groceries through the Welfare Action Group and the Lynwood Recreation Department.
A single person making less than $700 or a couple making less than $945 a month are eligible. A family of four qualifies with a monthly income under $1,428.
The distribution, including peanut butter, canned food, bread and powdered drinks, is the fourth Friday of each month at Bateman Hall, 11331 Ernestine Ave. Proof of income and residency is required. For more information, call (310) 603-0220.
