Three-time Olympian Steve Timmons will lead Team Coca-Cola against Team Toyota in the finals of Team Cup Volleyball tonight at the Forum.
Team Cup Volleyball uses an accelerated scoring system. The first team to 30 points wins the game, but instead of a team scoring points while serving only, a point is awarded to the winning side at the conclusion of each rally. Once a team has reached 27 points, that team reverts to sideout scoring.
Karch Kiraly, the 1992 U.S. Pro Beach Volleyball champion, is the captain of Team Toyota.
