Bell-Jeff 21, St. Genevieve 15--Albert Alvarez scored on a one-yard run with 4:19 to play and Jesse Llamas added two scoring runs to lead the Guards (3-4, 1-1) at Burroughs High.
The Valiants (0-7, 0-2) took a 15-13 lead with 7:51 left when Omar Gutierrez ran 47 yards for a touchdown. Gutierrez led all rushers with 72 yards in 13 carries.
