HERO’S HERO: Hero, the anti-drug robot at El Toro’s Serrano Intermediate School, had a huge problem: He didn’t always work. . . . The school budget was too tight for continuous repairs, so science teacher Bob Bath searched for help. Anaheim-based Odetics Inc. volunteered to fix Hero, for free. Now Hero, who will spew out anti-drug messages, is humming. . . . Says Bath: “These are tough times financially, but we can’t wait around when the students have needs.â€
