CHULA VISTA : Boy, 17, Is Shot, Killed in Doorway
A 12th-grader at Bonita Vista High School was fatally shot in Thursday night, officials said.
Henry Laguit, 17, was shot once in the chest and died in the doorway of his Chula Vista home in the 1400 block of Via Hacienda, officials said.
Chula Vista homicide investigators suspect the 8:36 p.m. shooting is gang-related, Lt. Merlin Wilson said.
