Former Piston forward Rick Mahorn, cut by Il Messaggero of the Italian League after a locker room outburst, wants to return to Detroit, his agent said.
Agent Alton Waldon said that Mahorn was cut Friday after he swore at Coach Paolo DiFonzo and broke a chair against a locker.
The Pistons said they would consider signing Mahorn, 34.
