Not Everyone Thrilled Magic Is Back

When I went to Portland to watch the Dream Team in the Tournament of the Americas and then again saw them on TV during the Olympics, I was reminded once again of the enormous amount of joy I got watching Magic Johnson play basketball, and I was saddened by the knowledge that perhaps the joy was short-lived. Upon hearing Magic had decided to come out of retirement, I was ecstatic. Magic was coming home. It will be a good year after all.
