PALMDALE : Annual Fall Festival Will Begin Today
The sixth annual Palmdale Fall Festival, which begins today, will feature a wide variety of live music and entertainment, arts and crafts and an international food court.
Headlining the city-sponsored event is Peter (Herman) Noone of the popular 1960’s group Herman’s Hermits. Also performing will be groups playing jazz, bluegrass, big band and musical hits of the 1940s, 50s and 60s.
Children’s activities include puppet, comedy and magic shows.
The festival will open at 9 a.m. and close at 6 p.m. today at McAdam Park on 30th Street East between Avenue R and Palmdale Boulevard. Sunday times are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Admission is $2 for adults. Admission is free for those 62 and older and children under 12.
